On Tuesday, November 3, we voted and then left to go 4 wheeling. We met John and Sonja Black and Bruce and Roselee Stucki at the Cal Ranch parking lot and left Cedar at 8:20 a.m. We went as far as Springdale and stopped at a park there and went to the restroom. Brent and Ramona McCallister met us there. We rode on up through the park~using our brand new passes to get us there free. We went through the tunnel and finally unloaded our bikes to the south of the road by the buffalo ranch. The actual 4 wheeler trip was only 22 miles long, but because we all like to talk and eat, and the road was a little rough in spots, it took us 6 hours to get back to our trucks. You wind down the canyon towards the east fork of the Virgin River. Lots of beautiful red sandstone and white rocks and cliffs. We would look back to where we had been and couldn't believe the trail actually went there. It was a beautiful ride and a perfect day and perfect company. We stopped in Springdale and ate at the Bit and Spur when we were done. It was really good. When we got to LaVerkin, we turned south and went to see Kenyon and Kara and Mataya. We got home at ten o'clock. Great Day!!
