The first part of September, we were invited up to the Crews' for Payson Onion Days and to go 4 wheeling. It was also Lauryn's birthday that week-end and so we went to their home for Sunday dinner and then we got to go to the temple while Brandon was working there on his birthday and went to lunch with Janna and him. GREAT WEEKEND!!!
We went to the parade and to a concert at the park for Onion Days and it was really fun.
Anyway we went on a ride up the Mona Pole Trail with Kim and Mike and it was great. We loved it. Started at a gravel pit in Mona and goes up to the top of the mountain (those rugged looking mountains east of Nephi). The scenery was something to behold.
Then on Saturday, us and the Crews' met Brandon's family, except for Ashby who was sick, at Mosida, which is 27 miles west of Payson. We unloaded our machines there and headed out. It was kind of cold and rainy looking, but we bundled up and went anyway. Before we had gone very far, we were taking off our jackets. We ended up in Eureka and ate our lunch at the park there. We went up and toured an old mine that is south of there and took lots of photos there. We got back to our cars at about 5 p.m. The trip was 67 miles and it was a blast! Nice to go somewhere new and with our kids.

looks like lots of fun! i bet it was fun to explore some new trails. those mines look neat. glad to see you updated your blog...i KNOW you had things to post you busy body!
