First Right Hand Canyon in Parowan.
For two days this week, John and I went on the mountain to look at the beautiful leaves. On Monday, we headed over to Parowan to take some photos of headstones in the Cemetery for the Find A Grave Program. Then we went up to first right hand canyon and took some beautiful photos of mostly red leaves. We came down out of there and then went on up Parowan Canyon to Brianhead and up to Brianhead Peak and took some photos there. Then we took the road over to the Mammoth Road, past Schoppmans cabin, and took it to the road down Cedar Canyon. What a beautiful ride. We were going to go up right hand canyon, but had to get to Harmony to pick the garden for the last time before it freezes, so we went straight to Harmony. The next day, after John bottled tomatoes, we went up Right Hand Canyon and kept going over to Kolob Reservoir and went past there and down into the town of Virgin. I don't remember going down that road before. The views of Zion are so fantastic that I must say, it is even better than being in Zion Park. Anyway, two fun days of riding and taking photos. It is kind of fun having John retired. We are having a blast!!

why is it that the best time of year seems to last the shortest amount of time? your pics are so pretty! we were able to see some of the changes last time we were up. i think it is my favorite time of year too. thanks for sharing your pictures...at least that way we can enjoy the beauty little longer.
Claudine, we have family in the parowan cemetery also. We went up last year and got some pics of the headstones hoping to keep on collecting the family history that we need. Love all the posts Vicki
