LOGANDALE TRAIL RIDE WITH KIM AND MIKE

On Saturday the 21st, we left home at a little after seven o'clock in the morning. We traveled to Mesquite, Nevada to meet Kim and Mike who were staying there for their 21st wedding anniversary and Mike's birthday. They followed us and we ended up in Logandale, Nevada at the trails to ride our 4 wheelers. It was a beautiful day.........no coats or jackets needed. Whew!!!
Our ride was only 32 miles long, but we stopped allot and visited between ourselves and with other people. We came across some people who were doing EXTREME rock crawling with Jeeps and rock crawling machines and watched them for an hour or so. I don't know how they dare do the things they do, but it is fun to watch. The scenery there is beautiful...........lots of red rock formations and lots of sand and sand hills to climb with your machines (if you dare). We had our lunch and stopped and ate on some rocks with an overhang to keep us in the shade. We met up with some people from Vegas who told us about some petroglyphs and we finally found them and stopped and wandered around there for a while. We got back to the trucks at about 6 p.m. and changed our clothes in between the open doors of the pick-ups and washed up with wet wipes and we were ready to go-except for our hair which was questionable. We stopped and ate at Paula's on the way home and got home at about 9 p.m. Great Day!!! Nice to have weather good enough to go 4 wheeling again even if we do have to go two hours from home to find it.

to take my helmet off for the photograph.

Looks like alot of fun, and warm! Can't wait to ride in the warm weather again. Although it has been fun to play on our 4 wheelers in the snow!

Looks like you guys had another fun ride. Have you ever kept track of how many miles you ride in a year? I bet it is more than you can imagine. Thanks for another good post.
